Yeeun Kim（2000年生まれ）は、韓国・ソウルを拠点に活動するアーティスト。弘益大学にて絵画および陶芸・ガラスを学ぶ。 絵画、ドローイング、ガラス、インスタレーションなど多様なメディアを横断しながら、イメージやシンボルが個人的な記憶と集合的な物語のあいだでどのように変容するのかを探求している。 ハートや星といった反復的に現れるモチーフは、自身の記憶に根ざしながらも、自伝的な物語を超えて、欲望や希望、戦争、そして社会に共有される不安へと広がっていく。 近年は、光や色彩、日常の観察を積み重ねることで、現代社会における美しさと不安が共存するあり方を作品を通して考察している。
Yeeun Kim (b.2000) is an artist based in Seoul, South Korea. She studied Painting and Ceramic & Glass at Hongik University. Working across painting, drawing, glass, and installation, she explores how images and symbols shift between personal memory and collective narratives. Recurring motifs such as hearts and stars, rooted in personal memories, expand beyond autobiographical narratives to encompass desire, hope, war, and collective anxieties. Through the accumulation of light, color, and everyday observations, her recent work examines the coexistence of beauty and unease in contemporary life.
