チャン・タオ・ミエンは、ハノイを拠点に活動するアーティスト兼文化実践者であり、テキスタイルによる彫刻やインスタレーションを通じて、疎外された労働や「何もしない」ことの内省的な力を批判的に探求している。ロンドン芸術大学での教育とアジア各地を巡る長期の一人旅の経験をもとに、彼女は伝統工芸の継承と自然と調和したスローライフを目指すデザインアワード受賞団体「Collective Son Son」を共同設立した。
Trần Thảo Miên is a Hanoi-based artist and cultural practitioner whose textile sculptures and installations critically examine alienated labour and the contemplative power of inactivity. Drawing from her education at University of the Arts London and extensive solo travels across Asia, Miên co-founded design-award-winning Collective Son Son, preserving traditional crafts and fostering a slow lifestyle in harmony with nature.
