Benjamin Tongはイギリス生まれ、香港にルーツを持つアーティスト。2022年にCentral Saint Martinsで学士号（BA）を取得し、2025年にRoyal College of Artで修士号（MA）を取得した。 主にミクストメディアによる彫刻作品を制作しており、「遊び」と「暴力」、「神聖さ」と「不条理」のあいだにある不安定な境界を探求している。幼少期のメディア体験や神話を着想源とし、幻想的な要素とグロテスクな表現を衝突させることで、どこか見覚えがありながらも異質な断片的世界を立ち上げている。
Benjamin Tong is a British-born artist, with Hong Kong roots. He received a BA from Central Saint Martins (2022) and an MA from the Royal College of Art (2025). His work in primarily mixed medium sculpture that explore the unstable boundaries between play and violence, the sacred and the absurd. Drawing from childhood media and mythology, his sculptures collide the fantastical with the grotesque, creating fragmented worlds that feel both familiar and alien.c
