サラ・ベンサルタナ（1997年生まれ）はフランス系スペイン人のアーティストで、2023年にトゥールーズ高等芸術デザイン学院の修士課程を優秀な成績で卒業した後、デンマークのFynske Kunstakademiでも学んでいる。Printemps de Septembre、Experimental Photo Festival、Traverse Videoなどのフェスティバルで作品を発表。現在、コペンハーゲンのDark Galleryで初の個展を開催中。彼女の活動の本質は、光を追求し、写真というメディアの境界を押し戻すことにあり、目に見えるものと見えないものを隔てる境界を明らかにしようとし、科学への情熱をイメージへのアプローチ、化学、繊細な表面の探求に統合している。
Sara Bensaltana (b.1997) is a French-Spanish artist that graduated with honors from a Masters at the Institut Supérieur des Arts et du Design de Toulouse in 2023. She has also studied at The Fynske Kunstakademi in Denmark. She has exhibited her work at several festivals, like the Printemps de Septembre, Experimental Photo Festival and Traverse Video. She’s currently working on her first solo show at Dark Gallery in Copenhagen. The essence of her practice lies in the pursuit of light and pushing back the boundaries of the photographic medium, seeking to reveal the boundary that separates de visible from the invisible and integrating integrates her passion for science into her approach of the image, chemistry, and her exploration of sensitive surfaces.
