1990年、カガヤン・デ・オロ生まれ。フィリピン大学美術学部を彫刻専攻で卒業。2020 年より黄金町AIRに参加。ルムブレスは、持続可能性や回復力について問いかけるプロジェクトを行う上で、科学とまちづくりをアートに組み合わせることに関心を向ける。東南アジアにおける環境、共同体の弾性をしなやかにするアート・プロジェクトを行う領域横断的なコレクティブ「プロジェクス・アート・コミュニティ」を立ち上げる。国際交流基金「HANDs！プロジェクト」フェロー。「DA Fest [7] International Digital Art Festival」（2019年、Digital Art Festival Sofia、チェコセンター、ブルガリア）、「災害とデザイン／響きあうアジア2019」展（2019年、国際交流基金アジアセンター、東京都美術館、東京）、「ESC Projects: Places」（2014年、98B COLLABoratory、マニラ）、「The Coming: Sightings and Citizens」展（2009年、Paseo Gallery、パシッグ市）などに参加。
Born in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, 1990. Graduated from Fine Arts of the University of the Philippines – Diliman, majoring in sculpture. Participant of Koganecho AIR since 2020. Lumbres is interested in integrating art with science and community development in creating projects that tackle sustainability and resilience. He founded Prodjx Artist Community, an interdisciplinary collective that creates art projects focusing on the environment and strengthening resilience in communities in Southeast Asia. He is a fellow of Japan Foundation’s HANDs! Project. The group exhibitions he participated in include DA Fest [7] International Digital Art Festival (2019, Digital Art Festival Sofia, Czech Center, Bulgaria), Design and Disaster (2019, Japan Foundation Asia Center, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, Tokyo, Japan), ESC Projects: Places (2014, 98B COLLABoratory, Manila), The Coming: Sightings and Citizens (2009, Paseo Gallery, Pasig City).
