ピンリン・ホワンは、1986年に台湾の新竹で生まれました。2009年台北藝術大学卒業、2014年パリ芸術院よりDNSAPを取得。油絵の具を画材として使用した彼女の絵画は、心の中にある内なる世界の風景をテーマにしています。
フランス滞在中の2012年、パリで開催された「Jeune création」アワードに作品が入選。2013年、初の海外個展「Piece of Peace」をプラハで開催。 2014 年にパリ芸術院。2015 年にはパリのギャラリーで個展「Somewhere Else」を開催。 2017年に東京で日本初の個展「Dust of mind」を開催。2021年には東京で個展「Dreams Rise From the River Surface」を開催。台湾や海外での個展に参加。また、韓国、フランスでアーティスト・イン・レジデンスを経験。彼女の作品は、2009 年に台湾の国立美術館に収蔵されました。
Pin-Ling Huang was born in 1986 in Hsin-Chu in Taiwan. Graduated from Taipei University of the Arts in 2009, and obtained the DNSAP from Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2014. She uses oil paints as a painting material. Her paintings focus on the theme of the landscape of the inner world in her mind.
During her stay in France, her works were selected by ‘Jeune création’ award in Paris in 2012. Her first abroad solo exhibition ‘Piece of Peace’ was held in Prague in 2013. And her graduation solo show ‘Lonely Land’ was held in Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2014. In 2015, she had a solo exhibition ‘Somewhere Else’ in the gallery in Paris. Her first solo exhibition in Japan ‘ Dust of mind’ was held in Tokyo in 2017. She also had a solo exhibition ‘Dreams Rise From the River Surface’ in Tokyo in 2021. She participated several exhibitions in Taiwan and abroad. Also, had the experiences of Artist-in-Residence in Korea and France. Her work was collected by the National Museum of Fine Arts in Taiwan in 2009.
