1990年代から「息づかい･呟き･溜息、影と光などの感性が息づく生命の姿」を自然の生態系にそった素材で可視化する立体作品を制作。1998年第17回安田火災美術館奨励賞展出品。2000年那須野が原国際彫刻シンポジウムin大田原2000AIRに参加。2005年から横浜・神奈川の多様な認定こども園･保育園・福祉施設に継続して通い、乳幼児から地球の多様な自然やものと対話が広がるアートを実践。2019年関東学院大学社会連携センター×東京藝大DOOR to DOOR「当事者との対話―ダイバーシティ実践論」のコーディネート。関東学院大学教育学部教授。
Since the 1990s, she has been creating three-dimensional works that visualize “the shape of life that breathe with the sensitivity of breath, mumble, sigh, shadow and light,” using materials that are in line with natural ecosystems. Exhibited at the 17th Yasuda Kasai Fine Art Foundation Prize for Rising Artists in 1998. Participated in the 2000 Nasunogahara International Sculpture Symposium in Otawara 2000AIR. From 2005 to the present, she has been continuously visiting various accredited childcare centers, nursery schools and institution in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, to do the art that expand the conversation between young children and the nature of our planet. She coordinated of the 2019 Kanto Gakuin University Center for Social Collaboration and Tokyo University of the Arts DOOR to DOOR “Dialogue with Parties: A Practical Theory of Diversity”. She is currently a professor at the Faculty of Education, Kanto Gakuin University.
