美術家・立体アニメーション作家。物事の非永久性をテーマに、物質と生命体との関わりについてアニミズムを糸口に制作・研究している。主な受賞歴に第86回オーバーハウゼン国際短編映画祭 Special Mention by Ecumenical Jury賞(2022)、第22回メディア芸術祭(2018) 審査員推薦作品など、国内外の映画祭で受賞、美術展覧会で発表している。
Shinobu Soejima is an artist and 3D animator. With the theme of the impermanence of things, she creates and researches the relationship between matter and life forms, using animism as a starting point. Her major awards include the 86th Oberhausen International Short Film Festival Special Mention by Ecumenical Jury Award (2022) and the 22nd Japan Media Arts Festival (2018) Jury Recommendation which he has won at film festivals both in Japan and overseas, and has been presented at art exhibitions.
