湯雅雯（Tang Ya-Wen）は1993年、台湾・桃園生まれ。
台北芸術大学大学院にて修士号（MFA）を取得し、ミクストメディアおよびインスタレーションを専攻した。彼女の制作は、部品や拾得物、さまざまな素材への関心を出発点とし、それらを用いて、独自の感性が宿る「器」のような存在を立ち上げることに特徴がある。オブジェクトの機能や振る舞いにフィクションの物語を重ね合わせることで、人間の経験における一瞬の感情や気配を喚起する作品を制作している。

Tang Ya-Wen was born in 1993 in Taoyuan, Taiwan. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Taipei National University of the Arts, specializing in mixed media and installations. Tang’s art practice is characterized by a fascination with components, found objects, and other materials, which she employs to create a sense of vessel that are uniquely imbued with a certain sensibility. In her work, she blends the operation of these objects with fictitious narratives to evoke fleeting moments of human experience.
