アンドレス・シルバ・ヴィニョルは、ロンドンとベルリンを拠点に活動する画家・イラストレーターである。彼の作品は、生物多様性や動物・場所・人間の相互に結びついた歴史を主題としている。フィレンツェ大学で建築を学んだ後、地図制作に携わった経験を持ち、その経験は細部への緻密な観察力や、場所の精神（ゲニウス・ロキ）への深い関心に反映されている。2025年にはロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アートにて絵画の修士号を取得した。
自然史イラストレーションの精密さとマジカル・リアリズムの喚起的な表現を融合させ、水彩を中心に紙、リネン、キャンバス上で制作を行い、生態学的・歴史的な物語性に富んだ構図を生み出している。彼の作品において鳥は重要なモチーフであり、場所性、欺瞞、美、クィアネスの象徴であると同時に、物語の中の登場人物として機能している。近年の作品では、移動、搾取、依存、欲望、都市生活といったテーマにも取り組んでいる。
これまでにベルリン（2020–2025）およびロンドン（2025）のギャラリーで展示を行い、パナマ現代美術館の年次オークション（2025、2026）やArtsy Art Relief Auction（2025）にも参加している。また、複数の書籍や雑誌に作品が掲載されている。

Andrés Silva Vignol is a painter and illustrator based between London and Berlin. His work explores themes of biodiversity and the interconnected histories of animals, places, and people. Originally trained as an architect at the University of Florence, he later worked in mapmaking — experiences that inform his meticulous attention to detail and his deep engagement with genius loci, the spirit of a place. In 2025 he obtained a Master’s in painting from the Royal College of Art. 

Blending the precision of natural history illustration with the evocative power of magical realism, he works primarily in watercolor on paper, linen, and canvas, creating compositions rich in ecological and historical narratives. Birds play a central role in his work, serving as symbols of place, deceit, beauty and queerness, while also acting as characters within specific narratives. His more recent work deals with the topics of migration, exploitation, addiction, desire, and urban life.  

He has exhibited in galleries in Berlin (2020–2025) and London (2025)  participated in the annual auction of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Panama(2025, 2026), as well as the Artsy Art Relief Auction(2025) His work has been published in several books and magazines.
