Yuri Sakamoto graduated from Tama Art University in 2005. She is the recipient of the 8th Annual Taro Okamoto Memorial Award for Contemporary Art in 2005. She is based in Yokohama since 2009. Her artworks explore a feel of strangeness that emerged from the relationships constructed by everyday life.
