Keiso Yo was born in Aichi in 1985. When she was in 5th grade, she learnt about her Chinese origin, which made her perceive the world from both viewpoints. As an act to accept the unacceptable and horrific, she always consider body as the starting point to create artworks that often uses ceramic. In 2013, she began an art project "Tenjiku" together with painter Riku Shitara. In various locations, she produces bar or disco spaces, where she exhibits her ceramic works in an eatery like context.
