Crossing borders of genres and constrains of medium and techniques, Ayako Kurihara creates artworks such as painting, photography, installation and performance. Her major series of work include "Mind Games", "Pictures". In recent years, she worked on a large-scale outdoor installation project in Korea. She is developing her art practice more deeply and widely in Japan and abroad.
