Born in Tokyo in 1975. Takuji Aoshima completed Architecture Course at Tokyo University of Science in 1999. He graduated from the Graduate School of Chiba University in 2001. From 2001 to 2009, he worked at the Toyo Ito & Associates, Architects, where he was in charge of designing Matsumoto Performing Arts Centre and Za-Koenji Public Theatre to name a few. In 2009, he established Takuji Aoshima & Associates. He is a participating artist of "community vitalization" project in Koganecho, Yokohama. Since 2011, he is a part time lecturer at Tokyo University of Science. Takuji Aoshima & Associates was renamed as AT/LA.
