Suzanne Mooney graduated with a PhD from Tama Art University in 2014. She has been supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, Culture Ireland, and the Irish Embassy in Japan and was also awarded an Aesthetica Art Prize in 2015. Her arts practice examines how representations of landscape in visual arts can reflect the lived-space of our contemporary culture, exploring issues of globalization, urbanization and the effects of technological developments on our societies.
