After completing Oil Painting Course at Musashino Art University, Midori Haguri moved and stayed in Nanjing City, Shanghai City, China. In 2012, she returned to Japan and began her artistic practice. Currently, she researches the accident sites, and creates two-dimensional works in vivid color pallets. The gap between the negative memory of the place and Haguri's cheerful images confuse and upset people's expectations and understandings.
