Artists Cao Minghao and Chen Jianjun live and work in Chengdu. Their research and creative work focus on socially engaged art. In their site-specific, short- and long-term projects, they build cooperative relationships with multiple communities, and produce experimental visual narratives to facilitate new forms of sociality. Their current work, entitled "Water System Project: Water System Museum," aims at encouraging participants to imagine alternatives to the conventional narratives of the water system in Chengdu.
