Coma Artistic (Oli Filin & Clemens Hasler)ー本当の 黄金町とは？ これから
現在、私たちは、身の回りの環境をどのように認識し、記憶しているのか、また、どのような特徴が共通の記憶を形づくり、何がある場所を「リアル」なものとして感じさせるのかを探る、一連のイメージと短編映像を制作しています。その具体的な対象として、黄金町を取り上げています。
このプロジェクトでは、黄金町という地域を特徴づける二つの重要な要素である「川」と「鉄道」に焦点を当てます。蓄積された写真や言葉による記述、人々のさまざまな連想をもとに、AIが、実際には存在しないにもかかわらず一目で「黄金町らしい」と感じられる風景をどのように生成するのかを探ります。AIを、集合的な記憶を可視化するためのメディアとして捉える試みです。
ここでは、AIによって生成されたイメージを単純に「偽物」とみなし、人間の「本物の記憶」と対置するのではなく、そもそも何が場所のイメージを「リアル」なものにするのかを問いかけます。人間の記憶もまた、選択的で主観的であり、絶えず再構築されていくものです。一方、AIも異なるスケールでそれに似た行為を行います。多くの人々が残した痕跡を集め、それらを組み合わせることで、ひとつの複合的な黄金町をつくり出します。それは「集積された主観」であり、実際にはそのままの形では存在したことがないにもかかわらず、多くの人にとってどこか見覚えのある、場所についての共有された人工的な記憶とも言えるでしょう。
こうした生成作品と並行して、私たち自身が黄金町で過ごす日常の経験を写真によって記録します。また、来場者にもドローイングや個人的な印象を寄せてもらうことで、一人ひとりがこの街をどのように記憶し、また集合的にどのような黄金町を想像しているのかを映し出す、変化し続ける視覚的なサーベイをつくっていきます。
We are currently working on a a set of images and short films that explore how we perceive and remember our surroundings, what are the key characteristics that form a common memory and what make any version of place real, looking into the exemplary case of Koganecho. Focusing on the river and railway line as two defining elements of the neighbourhood, the project examines how AI can generate fictional yet immediately recognisable versions of Koganecho from accumulated photographs, descriptions, and associations, working as a medium to make these collective memories become visible.
Rather than treating AI imagery simply as “fake” and putting it versus “real” peoples memories, the project asks what makes any image of a place real. Human memory is also selective, subjective, and continually reconstructed, while AI performs a comparable act on a different scale -assembling a composite Koganecho from the traces left by many people – aggregated subjectivity – a shared artificial memory of a place, that never existed exactly this way, yet remains recognisable to almost everyone.
Alongside these generated works, we document our own everyday experience of Koganecho through photography and invite visitors to contribute drawings and personal impressions, creating an evolving visual survey of how the neighbourhood is individually remembered and collectively imagined.

COMA Artisticは、Oli FilinとClemens Haslerによるアーティスト・コレクティブです。
Oliはサンクトペテルブルクとハンブルクで都市計画と建築を学び、Clemensはウィーンとヴェネツィアで建築を学びました。
二人はともに、建築およびビジュアル・リプレゼンテーションの分野で長年にわたり活動しており、空間、歴史、イメージ、知覚の関係性に共通の関心を持っています。建築的な思考とアート、デジタルのアプローチを組み合わせながら、場所がどのように経験され、表現され、そして想像されるのかを探求しています。
COMA Artistic is an artist collective by Oli Filin and Clemens Hasler.
Oli studied Urban Planning and Architecture in St. Petersburg and in Hamburg. Clemens studied Architecture in Vienna and Venice.
Both have worked professionally in the fields of architecture and visual representation for years, and share an interest in the relationship between space, history, images, and perception. Their practice combines architectural thinking with artistic and digital approaches, exploring how places are experienced, represented and imagined.
