台湾出身のアーティスト。實踐大學にてコミュニケーションデザインの学士号およびファッションデザインの修士号を取得。ウェアラブルアート、オブジェクトシアター、参加型アートを横断する実践を展開している。2018年より、多様なコミュニティとの協働を通じて、テキスタイルやオブジェクトを用いた、人々の生きられた経験や都市の記憶を身体的な知覚へと翻訳する作品を制作している、アートをコミュニケーションの媒介として位置づけ、その可能性を探求している。
Profile
Chen Yenwei is a Taiwanese artist holding a BA in Communication Design and an MA in Fashion Design from Shih Chien University. His practice spans wearable art, object theater, and participatory art. Since 2018, he has co-created with diverse communities, utilizing textiles and objects to translate lived experiences and urban memories into somatic perceptions, positioning art as a medium for communication.
