プロフィール
中国・四川省出身。北海道大学大学院国際広報メディア専攻と武蔵野美術大学大学院彫刻コース卒業。信仰、労働、アルゴリズムなどの反復的なシステムを通して、リアリティがいかに構造的に生成されるのかをテーマに制作を行う。工業製品や拾得物を組み合わせた可動構造を制作し、観客の介入によって意味が立ち上がるプロセスを提示することで、現実と虚構の境界を探求している。
Profile
KASHIU was born in Sichuan, China. She received an M.A. from the Graduate School at Hokkaido University and an M.F.A. in Sculpture from Musashino Art University. Her work examines how reality is structurally generated through repetitive systems such as belief, labor, and algorithms. Combining industrial materials and found objects, she creates kinetic installations that invite audience intervention, revealing the processes through which meaning emerges and exploring the shifting boundary between fiction and reality.
