イサスクン・アラルセア（1994年、ビルバオ生まれ）は、バスク大学で美術学の学士号を取得後、同大学にて現代美術研究の修士課程を修了。現在は博士課程に在籍しながら、バスク大学で絵画を教えている。
彼女は主にドローイングを基盤としており、絵画との密接で継続的な関係性を保ちながら制作を行っている。ドローイング作品では、線、動き、そして光が特に重要な要素として扱われており、それらはイメージを構築するうえで欠かせない要素となっている。
Profile
Izaskun Araluzea (1994, Bilbao) holds a Fine Arts degree from the University of the Basque Country, where she also completed a Master’s degree in Research in contemporary Art. She is currently pursuing a PhD while teaching painting at University of the Basque Country. Her artistic practice is primarily rooted in drawing, maintaining a close and ongoing relationship with painting. In her drawings, particular importance is given to line, movement, and light, which became essential elements in the construction of the image.
