「呼吸のように」
私たちは、呼吸をすることで生きている。
そしてその多くは、意識することなく繰り返されている。
人との出会いやすれ違い、仕事や日々の営みも、特別な出来事でない限り、呼吸のように無意識のうちに繰り返されているのではないだろうか。
牛乳パックでつくった、肺を逆さまにしたようなオブジェ。その内側には、「良い」と感じたことや「不愉快」と感じたことが書かれた手形が吊り下げられている。手形の裏側にはミラーシートを貼った。
他者との交差の中で、私たちは何を感じ、何を見ているのだろう。
そして、そこで見えているものは、相手の姿だけなのだろうか。
「他人は自分を映す鏡（鑑）」という言葉を呼吸をするように、ゆっくりと見つめてみたいと思う。
“Like Breathing”
We live by breathing, a process that largely repeats itself without us even noticing.
Encounters and fleeting moments with others, our work, and our daily routines—unless they involve extraordinary events—seem to unfold in much the same way: unconsciously, like the rhythm of a breath.
This piece is an object made from milk cartons, shaped somewhat like an inverted pair of lungs. Suspended inside are hand-shaped cutouts bearing words that describe things we felt were “good” or “unpleasant.” The backs of these cutouts are lined with mirror-like film.
What do we feel and see as our lives intersect with those of others?
And is it truly just the other person that we see in those moments?
I want to take the time to contemplate the idea that “others are a mirror reflecting oneself”—to reflect on it slowly, as naturally as breathing.

女子美術大学卒業。循環する命の神秘を問いながら植物や動物などをモチーフにリサイクル品などを用いてインスタレーションなどを制作。2019年より黄金町入居。主な活動は、2025年黄金町Site-Aギャラリーでの個展、2024年上大岡で黄金町バザール、フランスにて滞在制作、2023年黄金町 x 台湾新竹エクスチェンジレジデンスプログラムなど。
A graduate of Joshibi University of Art and Design, she creates installations—often using recycled materials—that explore the mysteries of the cycle of life through motifs such as plants and animals. She has been based in Koganecho since 2019. Key activities include a solo exhibition at the Koganecho Site-A Gallery (scheduled for 2025), participation in the Koganecho Bazaar in Kami-Ooka (2024), an artist residency in France, and the Koganecho x Hsinchu (Taiwan) exchange residency program (2023).
