バン・サンファンは、感覚的な現象を幾何学的な構造によって表現するドローイング行為を中心に制作を行っている。パフォーマティブなドローイングと構造的なフレームワークとの相互作用を基盤とし、その往還的な関係性のなかで作品を展開している。近年は、この探求を二次元平面から空間へと拡張し、構造とジェスチャーがいかに新たな関係を形成し、与えられた空間の中で機能するのかを実験している。
Profile
Bang Sanghwan's practice centers on the act of drawing, using geometric structures to express sensory phenomena. Anchored by the interplay between performative drawing and structural frameworks, his work evolves through this reciprocal relationship. He is currently extending this exploration beyond the two-dimensional plane into spatial realms, experimenting with how structure and gesture form new relationships and operate within a given space.
