Miya Kaneko

Born in Kanagawa, Japan. Completed the Ph.D. of Fine Arts at Tama Art University Graduate Program in 2017. Based on the idea that “if people’s memories are also a component of the city1,” the artist presents works on the theme of the city based on people’s memories. The works are mainly installations and open productions, workshops that trace the memories and experiences of the participants and reveal the appearance of cities that do not exist.
