Mishio Mochida Jacques

Born in Japan in 1997, Mishio Mochida Jacques grew up in Belgium and graduated with a master’s degree in photography at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de la Cambre in Brussels. In her latest works, Mishio focuses on creations influenced by the idea of patchwork and the notion of folklore through the use of fabrics, photography, and embroidery. Her works interrogate the ties between culture, territory, and identity.
