2026/04/07(火)4月のOnAIR ―スタジオツアーApril's OnAIR - Studio Tour

黄金町エリアマネジメントセンターは、国内外のアーティストを対象に、まちと密接に関わりながら滞在・制作・発表を行うアーティスト・イン・レジデンスを実施しています。黄金町を拠点に、地域に点在するスタジオを活用し、アーティスト同士や地域との交流が生まれる環境を育んでいます。また、アジア地域を中心とした国際交流事業を展開し、アート分野で活動する組織・団体とのネットワークを形成するとともに、国内外のアーティストに向けた交流機会の創出や、現地でのリサーチ・対話の機会づくりにも取り組んでいます。

その一環として、毎月「On AIR」と題した交流の場を開催し、スタッフとアーティストが気軽に交流できる機会を設けています。

今回のOn AIRでは、スタジオツアーを実施します。参加者とともに約2時間のウォークを行い、アーティストのスタジオを巡りながら、黄金町にどのようなスタジオがあるのか、またアーティストがどのような制作を行っているのかをご紹介します。

Koganecho Area Management Center runs an artist-in-residence program for both domestic and international artists, supporting them to stay, create, and present their work while engaging closely with the local community. Based in Koganecho, the program utilizes studios scattered throughout the neighborhood, fostering an environment where exchanges among artists and between artists and the community can naturally emerge. In addition, we develop international exchange programs with a focus on Asia, building networks with organizations and institutions active in the arts, while creating opportunities for dialogue, research, and collaboration for artists from Japan and abroad.

As part of these initiatives, we host a monthly gathering called “On AIR,” providing a casual space for staff and artists to interact and exchange ideas.

For this edition of On AIR, we will hold a studio tour. Participants will join a walking route of approximately two hours, visiting artists’ studios to learn about the variety of spaces in Koganecho and the kinds of practices artists are engaged in.
