展覧会のタイトル『グラウンディング』は、基盤を築くこと、教育的基礎を固めること、そして感電を防ぐための接地など、人間と大地との関係をほのめかして肯定する意味を込めた言葉である。

作家は人間にとって最も核心的な条件は大地とのつながりであるという考えから、作品の形式と内容に着手している。陶芸のようにゆっくりとした、新しいものからは程遠い媒体が持つ物理的な制約がもたらす解放の領域があるという信念に基づき、制作された3点の作品を展示する。

The title of the exhibition <Grounding> is a word that subtly affirms the relationship between humans and the earth, encompassing the concepts of establishing a foundation, laying educational groundwork, and electrical contact to prevent shock.

The artist bases the form and content of her work on the idea that a connection to the earth is the most fundamental aspect of human existence. This exhibition presents three works following a belief that there is a realm of liberation reached through the physical constraints inherent in a medium—such as ceramics—that is slow and far removed from the new.

전시의 제목 <그라운딩>은 근거두기, 교육적 기초 다지기, 그리고 감전을 방지하기 위한 접지 등 인간과 땅의 관계를 은근히 긍정하는 의미를 담은 단어이다. 작가는 인간의 가장 핵심적인 조건은 땅과의 연결이라는 생각으로부터 작업의 형식과 내용을 출발시킨다. 도자와 같이 느리고, 새로운 것으로부터 한참 거리가 먼 매체가 지닌 물리적 구속이 도달하게하는 해방의 영역이 있다는 믿음을 바탕으로 제작한 세 개의 작업을 전시한다.
