2022/09/15(木)⻩⾦町国際AIRプログラム 2022 成果展「交流再来」Koganecho International AIR Program 2022 Exhibition "Return of exchange"

毎年秋に開催している「黄金町バザール」に代わり、本年度は「⻩⾦町国際AIRプログラム 2022」の成果展を実施します。
「⻩⾦町国際AIRプログラム 2022」では、2022年夏より、5都市からアーティストを招聘し、作品制作・調査を実施しました。その成果報告として、10月1日（土）～16日（日）に展覧会を開催します。タイトルは「交流再来」。パンデミックの影響により約2年間、人の往来が途絶えましたが、今年に入ってようやく黄金町AIRに海外からのアーティストが参加できるようになりました。本展では、作家の作品を通して人々や文化間の交流の価値を改めて考えていきます。
また本プログラムの一環として同時募集した「AIR マネージャー・インターンシップ」に参加の、フィリピンのインターン生による報告展も同時開催いたします。

In lieu of the annual exhibition event “Koganecho Bazaar,” we are pleased to hold the Koganecho International AIR Program 2022 this year.
During the summer, artists from five cities were invited to create their artworks and do research in Koganecho. An exhibition will be held from October 1st (Sat) to October 16th (Sun) to present their results. The title is “Return of Exchange”. Although exchanges had been temporarily interrupted due to the pandemic since 2020, it is finally possible for Koganecho AIR to accept artists from overseas this year. We once again consider the value of exchanges between people and cultures.
In addition, the report-showing by a Filipino intern who participated in the “AIR Manager Internship”, who was invited at the same time as part of this program, will be included.

1985年河北省星台生まれ。2010年四川美術学院を卒業。現在の活動拠点は成都。現代美術の制作に携わり、作家の私的な感情を意識的に隠し、絵画の手法やルールに目を向け、そしてリサーチの対象として絵画そのものを取り入れる。同時に、周囲の人々と都市との間に生じる疎外感とギャップに焦点をあて、より不確実で多様な創造の在り方を模索する。

Born in 1985 in Xingtai, Hebei province, he graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2010. He currently lives and works in Chengdu. Mainly engaged in contemporary art creation, he turned his attention to the methods and rules of painting by consciously hiding the private emotions of the creators, and mostly took painting itself as the research object. At the same time, he uses a more uncertain and diverse way of creation, focusing on the alienation and gap between the surrounding people and the city.

1989年光州生まれ。朝鮮大学美術専攻を卒業した後、同大学院の芸術教育を修了。しなやかさと強さを持ち、そして熱さや冷たさという、相反する性質をあわせ持つ鉄という素材を自身の作品のなかで頻繁に扱う。現代社会の二面性をテーマに、情熱、無関心、アンビバレンス、現代生活の矛盾、そして自分自身に関心を持ち、作品を制作する。

Born in 1989 in Gwangju. He graduated with a degree in fine arts, and later a master’s degree in art education at the Graduate School of Education at Chosun University. He often uses iron in his artworks, making use of its oppositional characteristics of flexibility and strength, with a material that can be both hot and cold. His artwork focuses on the dualities of modern society as a theme. He is interested in passion, indifference, ambivalence, contradictions of contemporary life, and his own self in creating his artworks.

1989年台北市淡水区生まれ。2018年、TNNUA造形芸術大学院で修士号を取得。現在は高雄に住み、精力的に活動している。#ffffff_blank、0.3025mBOOK、DOT TATTOOS主宰。新北市芸術賞のミクスド・メディア部門で受賞した彼の作品は、絵画、ミクスド・メディア、インスタレーションを用い、素材と空間を組み合わせたもので、日常生活の境界と認識の相互関係を提示する。2016年桃園現代美術賞受賞。

Born in 1989 in Tamsui District, Taipei. He obtained a master’s degree of Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts, TNNUA in 2018. He currently lives and works diligently in Kaohsiung City. Lee is the owner of #ffffff_blank, 0.3025mBOOK, and DOT TATTOOS. Recipient of the award on Mixed Media category of the New Taipei City Art Award through his work of painting, mixed media, and installation, his artworks combines materials and spaces to present the co-relations of boundaries and perceptions of one’s everyday life. He was the recipient of the Taoyuan Contemporary Art Award in 2016.

アティコム・ムクダプラコーン（コム）は 1981 年生まれ、現在タイのチェンライを拠点に活動する。メディア／アートカルチャー、特に国内の写真と表現の自由に興味を持ち、それらをメディア／アートパフォーマンス作品の基盤にしている。2009年に、アートやパフォーマンス、さまざまな形態の社会活動を通して、その境界を広げるために、社会的・相互的な議論の在り方を重視するコレクティブMute Muteを共同設立する。
ポジャワン・パンジンダ（ポイ）は、1983 年チェンライ生まれ。CMUメディア・アーツ・アンド・デザイン修士号取得。アートセンターのギャラリーマネージャーを経て、現在は地元でSinghaklai Houseを経営。ビジュアル・アーティストとして、社会史と雑多なことに興味を持つ。それらを遊び心のあるイラストで表現し、マクロな物語の盲点を反映し、時には日常生活の夢や不条理を反映する。現在Meaying Artist CollectiveとFUN LABに参加。

Atikom Mukdaprakorn was born in 1981 and is currently based in Chiang Rai, Thailand. He is personally interested in media/art culture, especially domestic photography and freedom of expression. These form the basis for many of the conditions used in his media/art performances. In 2009, he co-founded the collective, Mute Mute, which emphasizes mutual discussion about society in order to expand the boundary of perception through art, cultural performances and social activities in different forms.
Potjawan Panjinda was born in Chiang Rai, Thailand in 1983. She graduated in M.A. from Media Arts and Design, CMU. She was a gallery manager for art centers, and currently runs Singhaklai House in her hometown. As a visual artist, she’s interested in social history and miscellany. She turned them into playful illustrations to reflect blind spots of macro-narratives and sometimes reflecting her dreams or absurdity in daily life. Presently, she has participated in Meaying Artist Collective and FUN LAB group.

フィリピンのマニラを拠点とするインターメディア・アーティストおよびフィルム・メーカー。彼女のユニークな写真のコラージュは、従来のアイデアを翻し、相反する世界を融合させたものである。作品は、写真、ビデオ、サウンド、パフォーマンスを組み合わせたもので、観者を彼女の宇宙へ、つまりは彼女の帰属とは近くはないが、ある文化と個人の見方が融合しているように感じる世界へと引きこませる。フィリピンの主要なギャラリー、またヨーロッパとアジア各国で展覧会を開催している。

Jazel Kristin is an intermedia artist and a filmmaker based in Manila, Philippines. Her unique photo collages upturn conventional ideas and fuse together opposing worlds. Her art combines photography, video, sound, and performance where she brings her viewers into her universe – a place not quite like her home but feels like it in the blending of cultures and viewpoints. Her work has been exhibited in the Philippines’ major galleries, and has been showcased in exhibitions across Europe and Asia.

フィリピンを拠点に活躍されている平野真弓さんと、東京にあるアートスペースArt Center Ongoing代表の小川希さんにご登壇いただき、東南アジアの近年のアート動向を話の中心として、小川さんから平野さんにお話を伺いました。

Mayumi Hirano, who is active in the Philippines, and Nozomu Ogawa, who is director of the art space Art Center Ongoing in Tokyo, took part in this online talk event. Nozomu interviewed Mayumi about recent activities in the Southeast Asian art scene.

-Project 2 “AIR Manager Internship” Study Trip 【Internal Only】
We visit Aichi Triennale 2022 and Minato-machi to see the exhibition and interact with local experts.

-Project 3 Artist talk 【Open to the public】*Updated October 7
The participating artists in this exhibition will provide descriptions of their works in a tour that visits each venue. Each artist will talk about their artworks for around 20 minutes, including interpretation-time. The viewer can tour Site-A, Yamamoto Apartment, and Hachibankan in order.
