形式にとらわれない、率直な意見交換や思いがけないアイデアの発展が生まれる場を目指す「ON AIR」。今回はスペシャル回として、豪華ゲストを2名迎えます。アーティビストのAki Iwayaと横浜美術館学芸員の飯岡陸。それぞれがリサーチや現地での体験を通して「これは今、誰かに共有したい」と感じたトピックを持ち寄り、フレッシュな視点と言葉で届けます。
Akiさんは2025年度ACYアーティスト・フェローをはじめ、国内外（インドネシア、欧米など）で、アートと社会、アクティビズムに関するリサーチと実践を重ねてきました。そうした活動のプロセスも含め、オルタナティブな視点を共有します。飯岡さんは今年訪れたタイランド・ビエンナーレ・プーケット2025について、前回展とも比較しながら展示の中で印象的だった事柄やキュレーションの方法について報告します。そして、参加者からフィードバックを受けながら、時代とともに変化する国際展のあり方について考えます。
「見て、考えて、話したくなったこと」を起点にした、いまここでしか生まれない対話の時間。皆さまのご参加をお待ちしています。
“ON AIR” is a relaxed, open platform that goes beyond the usual talk event format, making space for honest conversations and unexpected ideas. For this special edition, we’re excited to welcome two guest speakers: artivist Aki Iwaya and curator Riku Iioka from the Yokohama Museum of Art. Each guest will share things they’ve recently seen, experienced, and been thinking about—topics they simply feel urgent to talk about. Through their presentations, they’ll offer fresh perspectives and personal reflections.
Aki Iwaya works across art, society, and activism in Japan and internationally, including Indonesia, Europe, and the other countries. As a 2025 ACY Artist Fellow, he has been developing research and projects that connect these fields. He will share ideas and alternative viewpoints that come out of his work, along with insights into how he approaches his practice. Riku Iioka will talk about the Thailand Biennale Phuket 2025, which he visited this year. Looking back at it alongside the previous edition, he will share what stood out to him, especially in terms of exhibition making and curatorial approach. He will also open up a conversation with participants about how biennale/triennales can function in today’s society.
Starting from “things we’ve seen, thought about, and wanted to share,” this event is all about creating a space for conversation that feels immediate and alive. We hope you will join us!

Aki Iwaya
アーティビスト。人が集まること＆対話（沈黙/非言語含む）を探究し、芸術と社会的現実の摩擦を演奏する。
寺子屋兼シェルターを住み開きしながら、アーツカウンシル東京の美術・映像及び芸術文化による社会支援分野調査員を務める。以降、防災・メンタルヘルス事業及び映像撮影やイベントと場を企画。また、「VS?collective」として海外コレクティブとの友だちの輪作りを行う。早稲田大学文学研究科現代文芸コース修了。
『自分の「声」で書く技術-自己検閲をはずし、響く言葉を仲間と見つける』英治出版（企画監訳）、『コレクティブ＆オルタナティブスペース-もうひとつの現実の作り方』刊行予定。
Aki Iwaya is an artivist. He explores gatherings and dialogue (including silence and non-verbal communication), and “performs” the friction between art and social reality. While running an open room/house that functions as a terakoya (community learning space) and shelter, he has worked as a researcher in the fields of visual arts, film, and socially engaged cultural practices with Arts Council Tokyo. His work spans disaster preparedness, mental health initiatives, video production, and the planning of events and spaces. As part of “VS?collective,” he also builds networks with international collectives.

飯岡陸
キュレーター、横浜美術館学芸員。2018年から森美術館勤務を経て、2024年より現職。森美術館では「地球がまわる音を聴く：パンデミック以降のウェルビーイング」（2022年）等の展覧会や調査に携わる。大学院在学中からアーティストとの協働を始め、「新しいルーブ・ゴールドバーグ・マシーン」（KAYOKOYUKI・駒込倉庫、2016年）などを企画。主な論考に「批評としての《ケア》」（『美術手帖』2022年2月号）があるほか、翻訳アンソロジー『公共なき実践：間-地域のキュラトリアル私研究に向けて』（0-eA、オンライン、2025年）を共編。昌原彫刻ビエンナーレ2024「silent apple」（韓国）にco-thinker of gudeulとして携わる。

Riku Iioka is a curator currently serving as Associate Curator at the Yokohama Museum of Art since 2024. Previously, he was at the Mori Art Museum (2018-2024), where he contributed to several research and curatorial projects, including Listen to the Sound of the Earth Turning: Our Wellbeing since the Pandemic (2022). Iioka’s curatorial practice began by collaborating with emerging artists, curating the exhibition New Rube Goldberg Machine (KAYOKOYUKI, Komagome Soko, 2016) while pursuing studies in art practices at Tokyo University of Art (BA) and art theory at Yokohama National University (MA). In addition to his curatorial work, Iioka is involved in international projects, including his role as “co-thinker of gudeul” for the 7th Changwon Sculpture Biennale 2024: silent apple in South Korea.
