アルゴリズムの時代に立ち向かうべく、アーティストの程仁珮 ( チェン・レンペイ）は、プロジェクト「 When you need ＿＿＿ in life 」を通じて、セルフメディア（自媒体）をデジタル・フィールドワークの現代的な場として捉えています。フードスカルプチャーとメイク動画を融合させたパフォーマンス映像をアップロードすることで、彼女は現代のアーティファクト（人工物）の視覚的カタログを構築しています。
7月18日、アーティストは会場にて1時間半のスペシャルパフォーマンスアートを披露し、ユーモアと風刺を交えたアプローチで観客との対話を試みます。
Confronting the era of algorithms, artist Cheng Jen Pei treats self-media as a contemporary site for digital fieldwork in her project When you need ＿＿＿ in life. By uploading performance art videos that blend food sculpture and makeup tutorials, she constructs a visual catalog of contemporary artifacts.
On July 18, the artist will perform a special 1.5 hour performance art piece at the venue, engaging in a dialogue with the public through a humorous and satirical approach.

台湾の現代アーティスト程仁珮 ( チェン・レンペイ）は、長期にわたり「食」を創作の核心に据えて活動しています。緻密なフィールドワークを通じて、個人のライフストーリーと食文化の移動を織り交ぜ、独自のフードスカルプチャー、フラワーアレンジメント、現物の静物写真へと昇華させています。 現在は日本に滞在し、現代社会における「食と人」の緊密なつながりを深く探求。劇場的な映像言語を用いて、移住者たちの食卓に宿るアイデンティティと文化の変遷を鮮やかに描き出しています。
Taiwanese contemporary artist Cheng Jen Pei has long placed “food” at the core of her creative practice. Through meticulous field research, she intertwines personal life stories with the migration of dietary cultures, transforming them into unique food sculptures, floral arrangements, and still-life photography. Currently residing in Japan, she delves into the close bond between “food and people” in contemporary society. Utilizing a theatrical visual language, her work captures the nuances of identity and cultural evolution on the dining tables of migrants.

レナ・アフラモワは、黄金町を拠点に活動するウクライナ系イスラエル人のアーティスト／キュレーターであり、長期滞在アーティストとして活動を続けています。日本で20年にわたり暮らしながら、写真、テキスト、空間インスタレーションにまたがる複合的な実践を展開してきました。
彼女はハイファ大学で教育カウンセリングの修士号を取得し、ニューヨーク・フィルム・アカデミーを通じて東映京都撮影所の映画制作プログラムを修了しました。彼女の写真作品は、The New York Times、BBC News、Newsweek などで紹介されています。また、アート、教育、社会的実践をつなぐ協働プロジェクトにも取り組んできました。
彼女の作品は、身体と空間の関係を探求し、とりわけ感情、記憶、アイデンティティが、生きられた環境のなかでどのように形づくられるのかに注目しています。彼女の実践の中心にあるのが、川沿いに位置するスタジオ兼ギャラリー THE ROOM であり、そこは創作の場であると同時に、キュレーションの実験や協働のための空間としても機能しています。
Lena Aframova is a Ukrainian-Israeli artist and curator based in Koganecho, where she has worked as a long-term resident artist. Having lived in Japan for the past 20 years, she has developed a multidisciplinary practice spanning photography, writing, and spatial installation.
She holds an MA in Educational Counseling from Haifa University and completed a filmmaking program at TOEI Kyoto Studio through the New York Film Academy. Her photography has been featured in The New York Times, BBC News, and Newsweek. Her projects include collaborations that connect art, education, and social engagement.
Her work explores the relationship between body and space, with particular attention to how emotion, memory, and identity are shaped through lived environments. Central to her practice is THE ROOM, her studio and gallery by the river, which functions both as a site of artistic production and as a space for curatorial experimentation and collaboration.
