1. 企画主旨
「⻩⾦町バザール」は、横浜市中区黄金町エリアでアートによるまちの再生に取り組むNPO法人黄金町エリアマネジメントセンターが主催するアートフェスティバルです。アーティストと地域コミュニティの出会いの場を創出し、多くの来街者を呼び込むことで、まちの賑わいづくりに取り組んでいます。
今回の展覧会は、京急線の黄金町駅と上大岡駅の2か所で開催されます。アーティストコミュニティと地域コミュニティが展覧会を通じてつながる可能性に焦点を当てます。
1. Introduction
Koganecho Bazaar is an arts festival that has been held in the Koganecho area in Yokohama city, a former red light district. Its aim is to create a good relationship between art and the local community by attracting visitors and creating a lively neighbourhood.
The Bazaar this year will take place at two locations on the Keikyu Line: Koganecho Station and Kamiooka Station. It will focus on the potential for connecting the artist community and the local community through the exhibition.

2. General Information
Title: Koganecho Bazaar + Kamiooka Bazaar 2025 We Meet Along the Way
Exhibition: September 11 (Thu) to October 13 (Mon), 2025 (29 days)
Closed: Thursday (or the following Friday if it is a Thursday holiday)
※Keikyu Department Store, Wing Kami-Ooka, opens everyday
Venues: Studios, galleries, vacant spaces under the railways between Koganecho and Hinodecho stations, surrounding studios, local stores, outdoor spaces, Keikyu Department Store in Kamiooka, Wing Kami-Ooka.

3. 募集内容
今回のテーマ（参考：ディレクターのメッセージ）を基に展開される作品およびプロジェクトのプランを募集します。「アーティストコミュニティと地域コミュニティ」を様々な視点で解釈し、共に考え、可能性を拡張できるプランを募集します。
ジャンルの指定は特にありませんが、主催者が提供する場所を有効に活⽤し、会期中を通じて公開可能なプランであることが応募条件となります。なお、提出するプランは未発表でオリジナルなものに限ります。滞在制作による新作の発表が条件となりますが、近距離在住の場合はその限りではありません。
ディレクターのメッセージ：
すべてのレジデンスアーティストは旅の途中にある。そのなかで、彼らはアーティストコミュニティと出会う。アーティストコミュニティは誰かが去り、誰かが参加することによって、少しずつ変化していく。しかしその出来事は歴史として残り続ける。
レジデンスが終わったアーティストはそれぞれが別の地域コミュニティと対峙する場面へと移動していく。そしてアーティストは地域コミュニティと関わりながら、新たなアーティストコミュニティを作り始める。そして、そこで新しい関係を作って、また違うところへ移動していくだろう。もしやアーティストが同じ場所に戻ったとしても、アーティストの役割はすでに同じではない。
すべてのレジデンスアーティストは始まりと終わりの途中にいる。これは地域コミュニティも同じことで、始まりと終わりの途中にあって、常に変わり続けている。
今回の展覧会は京急線の駅、駅間をアーティストが移動することによって、同時に二つの展覧会を作る。これはふたつの地域コミュニティとの関わりであり、アーティストコミュニティにとって、変化の契機であり、また、地域コミュニティにとっても展覧会を通して、ふたつのエリアを結びつけて考える機会となるかもしれない。
そしてアーティストも地域も次の展開へと進んでいく。

3. Proposal theme
We are calling for proposals for artworks and projects developed around this year’s theme (see the director’s message for reference). We welcome plans that explore the relationship between the ‘artist community and local community’ from various perspectives, fostering dialogue and expanding possibilities.
Although there is no set genre, it must be practical for the proposed work to be presented for the entire duration of the exhibition and make effective use of the location provided. In addition, we only accept work that is original and unpublished.
Director’s message
Artists-in-Residence are always in transit, traveling between places, ideas, and encounters. Along the way, they become part of an evolving artist community shaped by arrivals and departures, in a place where traces of their presence remain and accumulate as layers of shared histories.
When a residency ends, artists step into new contexts, meeting communities beyond the residency space. As they move on from one place to the next, their encounters with every new community emanate to form webs of creative networks. Even should artists return, their presence would not be the same, indelibly changed by experience and time.
This state of “meeting along the way”—between beginnings and endings, between origins and destinations—defines not only the artists but also the communities they engage with. Communities, too, are in flux, constantly changed by fluctuations among the multitude lives that are lived within them.
In Koganecho Bazaar 2025, artists will work between stations along the Keikyu Line, shaping two interconnected exhibitions in Kamiooka and Koganecho, and underscoring the exhibition’s central theme: transition as a space of creation. The dual exhibition structure aims to facilitate dialogue between these distinct yet linked communities, offering a moment to consider how places are shaped by those who pass through them.
As the exhibition unfolds, artists and communities alike continue their journeys, moving forward to new possibilities.

6. 応募条件
◆日本在住（国籍問わず）
◆黄金町に制作できること
◆滞在制作に関わる全てをアーティスト⾃⾝の責任で⾏うこと
◆滞在制作の成果を作品として「⻩⾦町バザール2025」で必ず発表すること
◆制作・展⽰・撤収スケジュール（項⽬５）を厳守できること
◆主催者が企画するトーク、レクチャー、ワークショップ等のイベントに出演、参加すること
6. Application Requirements
◆Resident in Japan (regardless of nationality)
◆Applicants must be able to produce in Koganecho.
◆Applicants must be self-sufficient and independent workers who are prepared to take on the entire creative process and adjust to daily life in a new setting.
◆Applicants must without exception exhibit the results of their creative work at the Koganecho Bazaar 2025.
◆Applicants must strictly observe the schedule (see point 5) for creation and exhibition.
◆Applicants must work with the Koganecho office to engage in outreach programs such as artist talks, lectures, workshops, and school visits during the project.
7. 展⽰場所について
今回は、会場を活かしたプランや、地域の店舗などのまちなかに広がるプランを募集します。
会場には下記7 つのパターンがあります。
A．元違法⾵俗店舗（⼀⼾当たりの平均⾯積は約20 ㎡の２階建）
B．⾼架下のスタジオ
C．⾼架下のスペース
D．川や橋
E．ウィンドウ・ギャラリー
F. 京急百貨店、ウィング上大岡
G. 地域商店（飲⾷店等）の⼀部※要交渉
※審査の後、希望された展⽰会場とは異なる会場を事務局から提案する場合もあります。
※プランが採択された後、事務局が所有者と交渉・調整を⾏います。応募者による候補会場への事前の⽴⼊り調査・問合せ・交渉等は、所有者の⽅へのご迷惑となりますので固く禁じます。
※具体的な場所を明⽰しないプランでも構いません。
7. Potential Venues and Spaces
Artists are invited to creatively use our facilities as well as other participating spaces in the area.
The following is a list of the main spaces available:
A. Former brothel buildings(2 storeys, each floor approximately 20 square meters).
B. Studio and gallery spaces under the railways
C. Spaces under the railways
D. River and bridge
E. Window Gallery
F. Keikyu Department Store, Wing Kami-Ooka.
G. local shops (e.g., restaurants, etc.) ※Negotiation required
* The actual location of the proposed project will be discussed between the organisers and artist after the selection process, and may change.
* KAMC will discuss projects with venue owners on the artists’ behalf after the project has been confirmed. Contacting and starting negotiations directly with locals without our permission is strictly prohibited.
* We also accept applications that do not refer to any specific location.
8. 主催者によるサポート
i．制作・滞在・展⽰・撤収費
提出プランに応じて、制作・滞在（交通費含む）・展示・撤収にかかる費用として、下記内容の助成を行います。（いずれも１人/１グループに対して）
• 制作費：最大300,000円まで（材料費、作品運搬費等）
• 制作謝金：55,000円（所得税を源泉徴収します）
• 滞在費：1日あたり3,000円（最大30日分、上限9万円）
• 交通費：最大50,000円まで（活動拠点から黄金町までの往復分）
※提出された予算計画書の一部を採用する場合もあります。審査通過後、事務局と提出されたプランをもとに予算計画を確認し、支払い方法を協議のうえ決定します。また、収益が見込まれるプランの最終的な収益分配については、個別に協議します。
*領収書のない支出は補償されません。
8. Support from the Organisers
i. Production, Stay, Exhibition, and Dismantling Costs
Based on the submitted plan, the following grants will be provided for production, stay (including transportation costs), exhibition, and dismantling expenses. (Each grant is for one person/one group.)
• Production costs: maximum of 300,000 JPY, for materials, work transportation, etc.
• Production honorarium: 55,000 JPY, inclusive of tax
• Living expenses: 3,000 JPY per day, up to 30 days, maximum of 90,000 JPY
• Transportation: up to 50,000 JPY, roundtrip from base of activities to Koganecho
※The organization reserves the right to adopt portions of the submitted budget plan. Actual compensation and payment method will be confirmed after the committee has discussed the proposals. Additionally, the distribution of profit for plans that are expected to be profitable will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
*Expenditures without a receipt will not be compensated.

「⻩⾦町バザール2025」の参加企画として、主催者が広報を⾏います。
必要に応じてレジデンス施設（光熱費含む）を提供します。

In addition to the financial support mentioned above, the following will be provided:
• The exhibition venue fee (including utility costs) will be covered
• Publicity as a participant of the Koganecho Bazaar 2025.
• Accommodation (including utility costs).
9. 作品の著作権・販売について
作品の著作権や販売については、個別相談の上、主催者と参加アーティストの間で覚書を結びます。
会期中に撮影した制作⾵景・展⽰⾵景や作品などの記録写真・映像の使⽤権は、主催者と参加アーティストの両者が保有します。
9. Copyright and Sale of Creative Works
After individual consultation, the organisers will sign an agreement with the artist regarding the copyright and sale of creative work.
Both the organisers and the artist have the right to use photographs and videos documenting the creative space, the exhibition space, the creative work, and so on.

下記の提出書類に必要事項を記⼊の上、E メールでご応募ください。
提出書類のデータはまとめてzip ファイルに圧縮し、最⼤25MB までにまとめること。zip ファイルは、メールに添付するか、⼤容量データ転送サービスまたはご⾃⾝のサーバーにアップし、メール本⽂にダウンロードリンクを⼊れてください。

10. Submission Method
Please fill out the following documents and submit them by email.
Any attachments submitted by e-mail should be compressed into a zip file no larger than 25 MB. For larger applications, please use a file sharing service or upload the files to your own server and send us a link.
