私たちはなぜ生まれてきたのか？どこから来て、どこへ向かうのか？ そうした根源的な問いを抱きながら制作を続けている。
今回の展示では、古代生物から銀河にまで見出される黄金螺旋をモチーフに、天井から吊るされたお米を中心に空間を構成する。お米は約3000年前に中国や朝鮮半島から稲作技術とともに伝わり、日本では命の象徴として大切にされてきた。このインスタレーションでは、宇宙が生まれてから現在に至るまでのエネルギーを表現したいと考えている。
また、周囲には、牛乳パック、はぎれ、綿など、身の回りの再生素材を用いた作品が広がる。
さらに、来場者が卵の殻に手紙を入れて置いていき、それを別の誰かが持ち帰ることができる参加型の作品も設置する。どんなに小さく、不完全なものであっても、新たな命を生み出す可能性がある。そうした循環の中で、自らも「SUZUKIMI」として生まれ変わる。
宇宙に存在する全てのものは、約138億年前のビッグバンからの記憶を内側に宿し、絶えず変容を繰り返している。

Why were we born? Where did we come from, and where are we headed? These are fundamental and deeply ingrained questions that shape my artistic practice.
In this exhibition, I constructed a space centered around rice suspended from the ceiling, drawing inspiration from the motif of the golden ratio, a spiral form found in everything from ancient life forms to galaxies. Rice was introduced to Japan approximately 3,000 years ago from China and the Korean Peninsula, along with rice cultivation techniques, and has since been revered as a symbol of life. Through this installation, I aim to express the flow of energy from the birth of the universe to the present day.
Surrounding the central installation are works made from recycled materials given new life, including everyday objects such as milk cartons, fabric scraps, and cotton.
Additionally, visitors are invited to participate in an interactive artwork where they can write a message, place it inside an eggshell, and leave it behind for someone else to take. No matter how small or imperfect, everything carries the potential to give birth to something new. In this cycle of transformation, I, too, am reborn as SUZUKIMI.
Everything in the universe holds within it the memory of the Big Bang approximately 13.8 billion years ago, reflecting a constant state of change and transformation.

SUZUKIMI
愛知県出身 女子美術大学卒業。渡仏2年。ヨーロッパ、中国をバックパッカーで長期旅行、カメルーンの狩猟採集民バカ・ピグミーと共に2ヶ月暮らすなど様々な人々の生き方や価値観に触れる。2019年より黄金町にスタジオを持ち、循環する命の神秘や不思議を問いながら制作を行う。主な展示に2023,年、黄金町アーティストインレジデンス交換プログラム新竹市鉄道芸術村、新竹（台湾）。2024年、上大岡で黄金町バザール 神奈川。Maison Verteにて滞在制作、Marney-sur-Seine（フランス）。

SUZUKIMI
Born in Aichi Prefecture, graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design. Moved to France for 2 years. She has been backpacking in Europe and China for a long period of time, and lived with the hunter-gatherer Baka Pygmies in Cameroon for 2 months, coming into contact with various people’s ways of life and values.Since 2019, she has had a studio in Koganecho, where she creates works while questioning the mysteries and wonders of the circulation of life. Major exhibitions include the Koganecho Artist-in-Residence Exchange Programme, Hsinchu City Railway Art Village, Hsinchu (Taiwan) in 2023, the Koganecho Bazaar in Kamiōoka, Kanagawa in 2024, and a residency at Maison Verte, Marney-sur-Seine (France).

株式会社オムニバース代表取締役 ・ ラグラスアカデミー主宰 静岡県富士宮市生まれ 実家は手づくりで納豆を作る納豆屋さん。菌への馴染みも深く納豆菌や他の菌との対話も野菜との対話も楽しむ料理人。 2000年にビーガンカフェをオープンして2015年にクローズ。その間食物アレルギー対応、ビーガン料理、スイーツの数々の商品開発をする(植物性ジェラート天使の愛ス、自家製天然酵母ワタクシのパンなど多数)。 2016年から2020年まで湯河原リトリートご縁の杜でビーガン料理のシェフを務める。「私たちは宇宙の中のかけがえのない大切な存在である」この言葉を大切にして、見える世界、見えない世界の垣根をなくし、幸せ、喜びのある日常を現在も伝え続けている。

Representative of Omniverse Inc. ＆ President of Lagasse Academy Born in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, her family is a natto (fermented soybeans) maker who makes natto by hand. She is a chef who enjoys interacting with natto and other bacteria as well as with vegetables. She opened a vegan café in 2000 and closed it in 2015. During that time, she developed many products for food allergies, vegan cuisine, and sweets (plant-based gelato Tenshi no Aisu, homemade natural yeast Watakushi bread, and many more). From 2016 to 2020, she was the vegan chef at Yugawara Retreat Goen no Mori. She is still committed to this phrase, “We are irreplaceable and precious beings in the universe,” and continues to share her daily life of happiness and joy by eliminating the barriers between the visible and invisible worlds.

武蔵野美術大学で油絵を学ぶ。卒業後まもなく脳腫瘍を患い、片目の視力を失い、もう片方の目は先天性の弱視の為画家への夢を断念。
約10年に及ぶ療養生活の中、独学で写真を始める。身体が不自由な中、ベッドの周辺を撮影したミクロの写真が宇宙構造と同じフラクタルだと気付き、カメラのレンズが眼球の代わりを果たした。私家版写真集をひたすらに作り続けている。 2006年に東川賞新人賞受賞。パリフォトはじめヨーロッパや米国、アジアなどで展示。
ヒューストン美術館、サンフランシスコMOMA、ボストン美術館、スミソニアン美術館作品所蔵。

Emi Anrakuji
Studied oil painting at Musashino Art University. Shortly after graduation, she suffered from a brain tumor and lost sight in one eye, and gave up her dream of becoming a painter due to congenital amblyopia in the other eye. During her 10-year convalescence, she taught herself to take up photography. While physically disabled, she realized that the microscopic photographs she took around her bed were fractal, like the structure of the universe, and the camera lens took the place of her eyeballs.
She has been working incessantly on a collection of privately printed photographs. In 2006, she won the Higashikawa Award for New Photographers.
She has exhibited in Europe, the U.S., and Asia, including Paris Photo.
Her works are in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; San Francisco MOMA; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the Smithsonian Institution.
