[Kyushu] Shusuke Nishimatsu

Born in Gifu City in 1988, and currently based in Kitsuki City, Oita Prefecture. After graduating from the Painting Course at Nagoya University of the Arts in 2012, went to Germany to study at the Braunschweig University of Art. Themes revolving around memory and recording are central to his work, intertwining encounters with people and the nuances of their own minds with historical and societal events. He creates works using various methods such as video, photography, and text.
