The group creates the lion dance (Shishimai) and performs them in various communities. Unlike the traditional lion dance, which is rooted in the local area, this is a casual, light-footed lion dance that temporarily stays in the town and appears and dances without prior notice. The lion dance visualizes the life of the land from the perspective of ‘can a lion dance inhabit this place?’, considering spatial margins and people’s tolerance.
