[Yokohama] Risa Sato

Born in Tokyo in 1972. Graduated from the Design Department of the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts in 1999. Based in Kanagawa Prefecture. She creates large-scale soft sculptures that are abstract yet approachable, appearing in public spaces indoors and outdoors, exploring the potential for communication through art. She also engages in numerous collaborative projects, including workshops.
