[Yokohama] Jun Homma

Born in 1967, graduated from Tama Art University with a degree in design. Since the artwork “Rope” (1997), in which a rotating jump rope continuously created nothingness in space, he has exhibited works transversely such as sculpture, installation, and video on the theme of “invisibility”. Since 2000, he has been developing site-specific works mainly for national and international art projects and residency programs. In recent years, he has been working on a series of works present on a single time axis the appearance (past) and disappearance (future) of anonymous sculptures and ready-made objects.
