有川滋男｜Arikawa Shigeo

1982年東京都生まれ。2006年東京藝術大学音楽環境創造科卒業。2014年より2年間オランダ・アムステルダムのレジデンスプログラム、ライクスアカデミーにて映像・ビデオインスタレーション・写真作品などを滞在制作。見ている物質や事柄について意味を与えて理解しようとする人間の行為を、意図的に中断・撹拌させることで「見る」ことの意味を問う。

Born in 1982 in Tokyo. He graduated from the Department of Musical Creativity and the Environment at Tokyo University of the Arts. During his two-year residency at Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam, Netherland starting in 2014, he produced works in different mediums, such as video, installation and photography. His works question what it means to "see" by intentionally interrupting and agitating human behavior, which attempts to attach meanings to objects or situations encountered in order to understand them.
