The participating artists for “Koganecho Bazaar + Kamiooka Bazaar 2026: Where Our Paths Cross—A Town Connected by Art” have been selected. We are pleased to announce a total of 23 artist groups.

The Koganecho Bazaar is an art festival that has been held since 2008, focusing on the relationship between art and the community, as well as cultural exchange with Asia. Since 2025, the festival has expanded beyond the Koganecho area to include the Kamiooka area, specifically at Keikyu Department Store and Wing Kamiooka, and this year’s event will once again take place at venues in both areas.

Set against the backdrop of Koganecho’s “community development through art”—which will soon mark its 20th anniversary—and Keikyu Department Store and Wing Kamiooka, which are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, this year’s festival will be held under the theme “We Intersect: A Town Connected by Art.”Centered on the relationship between art and the community, the event explores the diverse connections born from the intersections between people, between people and the city, and between cities—as well as the possibilities that lie beyond.
