Kazusa

Wankindo, 2020

Personal issues within families, human relationships, and love are things that everyone continues to confront individually. These are not conventional thoughts in society, but through her work, Kazusa hopes to inspire each individual’s thinking process. She mainly engages in expressive activities through installations, performances, texts, and watercolor paintings. Since 2007, she has been creating works with “rice” as a motif. Feeling a sense of permanence in rice, which increases and spreads from a single grain, she continues to use it as a motif in her work.
