Yoshi Haruka, an artist participating in the Koganecho Bazaar, is creating a window-themed artwork for the exhibition by sewing together secondhand clothing collected from people connected to Koganecho.
In this workshop, participants will create small windows by combining scraps of the used clothing used in the artwork, cutting and pasting them together.
Participants will walk around the neighborhood with their finished windows, hold them up against scenes that catch their eye, and take photos.
The vintage clothing windows and photos created during the workshop are scheduled to become part of the exhibition.
We hope you’ll join us in creating these pieces!
