Maki Takemoto

*An animation based on the 20th anniversary of the Hatsukō-Hinode-cho Environmental Cleanup Promotion Council*, 2023

Born in 1976 in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, currently based in Yokohama City. After graduating from Hirosaki University’s Faculty of Education in 1999, she studied at Tsuyoshi Ozawa Tonchiki Art School at Bigakko in 2000. Since 2001, she has held numerous solo exhibitions and art projects. Since 2005, she has moved to Yokohama and is involved in Creative City Yokohama policy. She works with people from various regions every day to develop the town through art.
