[South Korea] Moon Changhwan

Moon Changhwan was born in Gwangju, Korea in 1992, based in Gwangju. After receiving his degree from the fine art faculty of sculpture and installation at Chosun Art University in 2017, he has participated in residencies such as the Horanggasinamu Creative Studio (2022) and the Gwangju Museum of Art International Residency (2021). He made several artworks of new media art and video installations using mixed media. His work explores themes such as the change in urban paradigms, alternative urban spaces, and living spaces, questioning the spaces that surround us and investigating the lives of people within those spaces.
