Hitomi Saaya

Born in 1987 in Tokyo. Currently she is based in Tokyo and Kanagawa. After graduating from Department of Arts Policy and Management at Musashino Art University, she entered the Graduate School at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2014. She studied abroad for a year at Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien in 2015. Currently she is studying in the Master's program of Intermediate Art, Department of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts. By using conceptual projects as a medium, she involves participation of others in order to create performance pieces, which she records and presents as video installation.
