竹本 真紀

青森県八戸市生まれ。弘前大学教育学部卒業。美學校小沢剛トンチキアートスクール卒業。2005年より横浜市を拠点に活動。駅やお店などアート空間以外の場所に作品を設置して回遊してもらうプロジェクトを多数行う。様々なコミュニティと関わりながら作品制作を行っている。

Born in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture. Graduated from Hirosaki University Faculty of Education. Graduated from Bigakuko Ozawa Tsuyoshi Tonchiki Art School. Based in Yokohama since 2005. Has been involved in many projects where she installs artworks in places other than art spaces such as train stations and shops, encouraging people to wander around. She creates artworks while engaging with various communities.
