林琳 (リンリン)　

林林（リン・リン）は中国・泉州出身のアーティスト、キュレーター、研究者である。2003年にオランダのダッチ・アート・インスティテュートで視覚芸術とメディアの修士号を取得後、2004年より廈門大学で教鞭を執る。ファイバー、セラミック、レディメイド、映像など多様なメディアを用いて、場所特有のインスタレーション作品を制作している。物体を見つめ、記憶の存在の確かさを問い直すことで、作品の中に時間の痕跡を探ることをテーマとしている。 これまでに数々の賞や助成を受けており、フランスのクラック・アルザス・アートセンター、オランダ・エンスヘデのRIJKミュージアム、アムステルダムのデ・アペル、カナダ・トロントのWest Wing Art Space、ドイツ・オクトルプのヴィラ・ヴァイナー、中国・廈門の中欧芸術センター、アメリカ・ボルチモアのChesapeake Art CenterおよびCreative Alliance Galleryなど、国内外のさまざまな展覧会で作品を発表している。 また、複数のアーティスト・イン・レジデンスに参加しており、現在はキュレーターとして、中国・晋江の福林村西区にて「No.97国際芸術村」の運営を行っている。

Lin Lin, an artist, curator and scholar born in Quanzhou, China. After receiving the Master degree from Visual Arts and Media at the Dutch Art Institute in 2003, Lin Lin had been teaching in Xiamen University since 2004. She is adept at using mix-media such as fiber, ceramics, ready-made objects, and video to create site-specific installation works. By gazing at objects, questioning the authenticity of the existence of memory, she explores the traces of time in her works. Lin Lin has received numerous art awards and fundings. Her works have been exhibited at Crac Alsace Art Center in France; RIJK Museum in Enschede, Netherlands; Municipal Museum, Harlingen, Netherlands; De Appel, Amsterdam, Netherlands; West Wing Art Space, Toronto, Canada; Villa Weiner, Ochtrup, Germany; Chinese European Art Center, Xiamen; Chesapeake Art Center in Baltimore, USA; Creative Alliance Gallery in Baltimore, USA; Koganecho Bazaar, Yokohama, Japan, etc. She has also participated in multiple artist residency projects. Now as a curator she organises the No. 97 International Art Community in the West District of Fulin Village, Jinjiang, China.
