ホ・ビン・キム

キム・ホビンは、2021年にカーティス・ブラウンと契約して以来、小説家でありマルチディシプリナリー・アーティストとして活動している。第15回光州ビエンナーレ・ドイツ館、第2回ソウル・アート＆テック・フェスティバル、第7回バンコク実験映画祭をはじめ、国内外の個展やグループ展に参加。
映像、インスタレーション、絵画、テキストといった多様なメディアを横断しながら、フィクションと現実の境界を探求する彼の作品は、韓国、日本、アメリカ、中国でのリサーチや個人的な経験に基づき、権力構造、メディア、社会的アイデンティティといったテーマに取り組んでいる。
UNESCOメディアアート・レジデンシーや上海のSwatch Art Peace Hotelなどでの滞在制作を通じて、実験的かつ分野横断的なアプローチを深化させている。

Since signing with Curtis Brown in 2021, Ho Bin Kim works as a novelist and multidisciplinary artist. His work has been exhibited at the 15th Gwangju Biennale German Pavilion, 2nd Seoul Art&Tech Festival, and 7th Bangkok Experimental Film Festival, as well as in various solo and group exhibitions. Working across video, installation, painting, and text, his practice explores the boundaries between fiction and reality. Drawing on research and personal experience across Korea, Japan, the U.S., and China, he investigates systems of power, media, and social identity. Through residencies such as the UNESCO Media Art Residency and Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai, Kim continues to expand his experimental, cross-disciplinary approach.
