神奈川県生まれ。2014年東京芸術大学大学院美術研究科修了。子供の頃の記憶や、近年のデジタル化により失われつつある原始的な伝統文化に強く興味を持つ。世界各地で出会う人々に着想を得て立体、絵画、写真、映像、インスタレーションなどの作品を制作。近年の個展には「安田葉 オープンスタジオ」（2019年、Norma Redpath Studio、メルボルン）、「コレクティブ・ストーリーテリング：ジョグジャカルタの現代美術」展（2019年、Synesthesia、ニューヨークシティ)、 「Shape of the wind」展（2019年、苫小牧市立樽前小学校、北海道）、特集展示 安田葉 「WIND BIRDS」(2018年、苫小牧市美術博物館、北海道) 、「アルファ企画解体復活大作戦」(2018年、旧アルファ企画、神奈川県）など 。
Born in Kanagawa. Graduated in 2014from the graduate school of Fine Art Tokyo University of the Arts. Yasuda is interested in childhood memory and primitive, traditional culture that is disappearing due to the recent digitization. Inspired by people she encounters all over the world, she makes photographs, videos and installation works. The exhibitions she participated in include Yo Yasuda Open Studio (2019, Norma Redpath Studio, Melbourne), Collective Storytelling -contemporary art from Jogjakarta, Indonesia- (2019, Synesthesia, New York City), Shape of the wind (2019, Tomakomai City Tarumae Elementary School, Hokkaido), Yo Yasuda solo exhibition WIND BIRDS (2018, Tomakomaki City Museum, Hokkaido), The memories of the artist couple (2018, alpha planning, Ebina City).
