初黄・日ノ出町地区（黄金町エリア）は、みなとみらい21地区や横浜駅など市内の中心から近い場所に位置しています。 エリア内には、元違法風俗店舗をコンバージョンしたスタジオや京浜急行線高架下の文化芸術スタジオ等の複数の拠点が点在し、まちと一体化した環境で作品の制作や発表ができます。 黄金町AIRでは、まちを実験の場として開くことで、地域コミュニティに新たな可能性が生み出されることを目指しています。
The Hatsunecho / Koganecho / Hinodecho districts (comprising the Koganecho Area) are close to central locations such as Minato Mirai 21 and Yokohama station. In the Koganecho Area, we have many studios converted from former brothels, and gallery and studios spaces that have been created under the Keikyu railway line, where you can exhibit your work in spaces that integrate with the city. At Koganecho AIR, we see the town as a space to be opened up for experiments, and where we aim to share new possibilities with the local community.
