Haruka Yamada

1986年神奈川県生まれ。武蔵野美術大学油絵学科卒業後、フランスのエコール・デ・ボザール・ド・ディジョン（ディジョン国立高等美術学校）に留学し、空間デザインとアートの過程を修了。２つの領域での学びを通じて都市空間におけるアートの実践に興味を持つ。変動する都市環境の中で自らの行為をどのように作品として成立させることが出来るかについて関心を持ちながら、都市、自然、人間という要素を相対的に捉え、ものごとの関係を測り直す。「Widget Factory Annual Art Show」展（2019年、Aparaaditehas、タルトゥ、エストニア）、「Drawing an ambiguity −あいまいさを描く−」展（2019年、HAGISO、東京）、「中之条ビエンナーレ2017」（2017年、群馬）、「ゲンビどこでも企画公募2016展」（2016年、広島市現代美術館、広島）、「Lauréats du Prix Dauphine pour l'art contemporain」展（2015年、Galerie du Crous、パリ、フランス）などに参加。

Born in Kanagawa, 1986. After graduating from Musashino Art University in Tokyo, she studied and graduated from Art and Space Design at National School of Art and Design in Dijon (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Art et Design de Dijon) in France. Through her studying abroad she came to focus on the Art practice in the real urban space. She is now interested in how to realize/reflect what she creates in fluctuating urban society to measure relativity with the city, the nature and the human. The exhibitions she participated in include Widget Factory Annual Art Show (2019, Aparaaditehas, Tartu, Estonia), Drawing an ambiguity (2019, HAGISO, Tokyo, Japan), Nakanojo Biennale (2017, Gunma Prefecture, Japan), Winner for Dokodemo Open Call (2016, Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, Japan), Winner for the Dauphine Prize for Contemporary Art (2015, Galerie du Crous, Paris, France).
