「これからどうなる横浜」まちづくり研究会（BankART1929主催）において「水辺」をテーマに集った仲間によって"都市の水辺のサードプレイス"を目指し、2012年「水辺荘」を結成。同年より黄金町AIR参加。コラボパートナー河北直治は長年路上観察者として横浜の川辺の街の今昔を見つめる。
In response to the "Where Yokohama goes from here" meeting (organised by BankART1929), a group of friends formed "Mizubeso" in 2012, taking "mizube" [waterfront] as their theme with the aim of becoming the "third place on the city's waterfront". They joined Koganecho AIR in the same year. Their collaboration partner, Tadaharu Kawakita, has long been observing the area, and is experienced with the past and present of Yokohama's riverside.
